In Conversation:  Venerable Robina Courtin with Scott Snibbe - Karma

Wednesday, October 28th - 7 - 9 PM US PDT

This course will be presented via Facebook livestream on Tse Chen Ling Center for Buddhist Studies’ Facebook page.

Beloved Buddhist nun and teacher Venerable Robina Courtin returns to Tse Chen Ling for a dialogue on karma with Scott Snibbe, host of A Skeptic’s Path to Enlightenment podcast. Ven. Robina and Scott will discuss the ways in which karma makes sense from a scientific and psychological perspective: how each time we speak, think, or act, it deepens a neurological habit. Robina and Scott will also debate the elements of karma that are harder to accept and understand, including the age-old questions of why bad things happen to good people, and why we are each born into the world with such wildly different levels of resources and freedoms.
